I just got paypal but am not sure how to use it - do you have it - if so instead of sending you this money i could pay it to you instantly - i would just ask that you send me an email walking me through it - as if i were a 3 year old - this is so embarrassing - i was a staff writer for a magazine for 7 years but am pertified with regard to anything to do with the computer help barbara |

11/22/2008 11:52:25 AM Enjoy him while you can, my 'babies' are 16 and 20 and it really does seem like only yesterday...... One day I was the 'all knowing, do nothing wrong, worshipped mother' and now I am thrilled to get an 'I love you' out them :-) But I guess that is what we want, for them to grow up and become independant and it happens in the blink of an eye. Take lots of pictures and make lots of memories and enjoy!!! Melody |

11/17/2008 5:57:26 AM Hi Margie, Sorry about the late reply. Once you log into your paypal account, there is a tab at the top that says 'request money', click on that, this page will have a link right under the 'request money' tab that says 'create an invoice'. Click on that. On this page you can create an invoice template if you want, I just use the standard template that paypal has so at this point I click on the orange button at the bottom that says 'continue'. This page is where you fill in the information like if you want your address and phone number to be included in the invoice. There is a big box under your information for the recipients email address/paypal address (never quite figured out why the box is so big!). Underneath that, make sure you select by 'invoice type' in the pull down menu select 'goods' or else when they pay off of the invoice, you won't get their shipping address. Put whatever you wish in the email subject line and a box for an optional note to the buyer. Then you can fill in the boxes for the items, if you need more rows there is a light blue button at the bottom to add more rows. There is a place for the shipping charge and tax if you charge it, then hit continue. Look this page over to make sure everything is correct and hit 'send invoice'. You will get a copy of the invoice sent to you as well and it will show up in your main account page where there is a reminder button if you need to resend the invoice later or a cancel button if you need to cancel the invoice. Once the buyer pays, it will show paid. I hope this helps, if my explaination was too confusing let me know, sometimes I ramble :) You can also use the paypal service to make a shipping label even if the buyer did not pay through paypal.
