5/31/2008 1:03:14 PM Hi my name is karen and my father was in WWII under patton and at normandie..........he passed away Dec of 2006 and my half brother had this knife of dad's i am tring to find out if it is of value...unfortunately he didn't share any of his experiences with me. that is why i am trying to see if there is any value at all.....it has no sentimental value...is has the belt hook and leather buckle in a ring...it looks like it is brass on the top and bottom of the handle, has a bird wth the swaztca ( know it's not spelled right) onthe handle and a circle on the top that looks like it has an A in it, it also has what looks like a captial q(not sure of the letter)llles f"ur Dcutfchland (again not to sure of the letters) inscribed on the blade....the tip is a bent a little andthe case is aged..anyway if you could enlighten me i would be tickled pink...thanks and my email address is heartlessinaz@msn.com thanks in advance............Karen |
