3/6/2009 3:16:18 PM Hello Jim, I would say to the best of my knowlage this is an original.I have compaired it to pictures in books and on the web.And all things look correct.Most of the silver is gone,but there is a fair amount of the gold wash still intact.On the reverse is a small hook at the top for attaching to a thread loop on a jacket,as well as an horizontal pin,which is sadly missing the catch.The maker mark is S.H.u.Co.,which is correct for this badge.I have not cleaned this badge,so it has a great patina to it.
