| General | I am a work at home stay at home Mother of 5 (4) girls and one boy (2) of my children have Autism so i have experienced both sides of the spectrum...The Good,Bad,Ugly AND JUST DOWNRIGHT AMAZING THINGS ! :) AND CUTE of course..With A boy Severe (15) and a twin girl Aspergers (7) there is never a dull moment...lol If anyone needs tips or ideals i would love to help if i can..I taught both my kids to sign the basics and one communicates this way to this day and the other stopped signing and talks my head off now...lol 3 years ago she would not say a word just sign like her brother and now she is in a regular 1st grade class exceeding to 3rd and 4th grade levels..Just remember they can learn and movement is the key to any communication. I showed them all.It just makes since they love movement ceiling fans..etc..Hand flapping from the excitement of the movement..So i ignored them (them being Dr's and School's) and bought a book and taught them simple signs..I was told my boy was to Severe to learn and that even if he did pick up sign language no one would understand him..because not everyone one knows it.. and I taught him at AGE 10 please remember it does not matter if no one understands it but you and he or she..You are who he or she needs most to understand their needs..Love and Patience is also a big key..force those hugs while they are small and tickles, with my son i can ask for a hug and get one and with my girl it comes out of the blue to me or if i ask...They are very loving children just mis-understood.. I had a Dr explain Autism to me like this : just imagine if you could hear every sound in a room, refridgerator, clock ticking,t.v. radio, fan, traffic outside, people talking,ETC.. and you took all this noise in at one time..Thats what Autism is like there is so much going on in their head it gets difficult for them to understand because they are focused on trying to process all this noise..I believe all these kids are genious I know i have seen truly amazing things from both of mine,and as i said the bad and good with Anger from frustration..Hang in There Mom's and Dad's ! |
| Music | Well I like all kinds of music 80's 90's rock alternative country sometimes. not alot of time to jam out like i used to though unless the kids are in school or grandma's...lol I try to keep that big kid image..smile |
| Movies | I like comedy's more than anything. |
| TV | Nancy Grace, Andy Griffith..etc the good old shows |
| Heroes | hmmmmmmmmmm tough one I would have to say my Kids I really am just amazed how much love they have and the ability to make me happy if i'm sad in an instant with a smile... :) |

The items i sell on here are even cheaper because there is no Amazon commission and high shipping fees and also my shipping is included to the whole sale price and drop ship fee..So it is FREE to you as long as you live in the U.S. We only deliver at a set rate in the U.S.! The company I work for I have also purchased from 3 times so far...smile. and They are legit I would not sell to you if I thought they were not. Alot of our items can be seen on E-bay and Amazon as others out there with the same job i am competing against for a sale. Really ticks me off the outrageous prices and all the profit being made by the sellers, I try to be the most reasonable out there...Thanks..Laura |
