About Me:
The regular way to form the plural of a noun is to add an s: chair/chairs,
book/books.
The plural of some nouns is formed by adding es: dress/dresses,
church/churches, toothbrush/toothbrushes, box/boxes.
The plural of nouns ending in y following a consonant is formed by changing
the y to an i and adding es: fly/flies, enemy/enemies, salary/salaries.
Exceptions are surnames: Brady/Bradys.
The plural of nouns ending in y following a vowel is formed the usual way:
monkey/monkeys
Oh, and sell is a verb. You cannot have a sell. You have a sale.
At the same time, sale is a noun. You cannot sale something. You can sail a boat, but that's another topic.
